Our Booking Procedure
Events, courses, and seminars organized by Trust the Nose:
- You can book a spot for our events by buying them from the Shop if not mentioned otherwise.
- Longer courses that require applying are fulfilled based on applications. The applying procedure is described in every event description. The applicants will be informed individually by email if they have received a spot on the course.
Private training and dog training packages:
- For private training and dog training packages, you need to apply via email. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Events, courses, and seminars organized by a third party:

Payment methods accepted
Courses, workshops, lectures and private training for individuals:
For our customers outside Finland, the payment term is Checkout bank card payments.

You can pay in the Shop with Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard-, Debit MasterCard, and American Express. The e-commerce services include Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, and American Express SafeKey. Checkout will appear as the payee on the card invoice and will forward the debit card payment you make directly to the merchant. Card payments are made using a secure payment form and the payment card details are not stored in the e-commerce systems.
Longer courses, full training programs for dogs and events hosted by another organizer:
The payment term is a written invoice by email if not agreed otherwise. Full payment is required on or before the commencement of the service if not informed otherwise.
When purchasing a service or a spot on a course, workshop, lecture or other events by Trust the Nose a binding agreement is concluded between the buyer and the seller where they both agree to follow Trust the Nose terms and conditions.
Refunds for the events are not available if the participant is not able to attend. You are, on the other hand, allowed to alienate your spot at single time events, like lectures and seminars, to another person.
For longer courses (including more than 2 meetings) the refund is possible only for representing a medical certificate that states, that the student is unable to continue the course due to their personal medical condition. In that case, the rest of the course can be refunded.
Trust the Nose reserves the right to estimate the amount of the lost course compared to the total.
The student is not allowed to alienate their spot to another person.
If the dog of the student is unable to continue the course due to medical condition or death, the student is able to continue with another dog. In that case, there is no refund.
On other services, a refund is possible if the cancellation is made 48 h or more before the set time and date. After 48 hours before the refund is not available unless the participant is unable to participate due to medical condition or death of their own or their dog. If canceled after 48 hours before the set time and date, a medical certificate is obligatory to present to get any refunds.
Vaccinations and treatments
All dogs must have current vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Prepare to show a copy of your dog’s current vaccination certificate.
You are not allowed to attend a class, meeting or a course with a dog that carries or has recently (less than 2 weeks ago) carried contagious decease like diarrhea, nose mites, giardia, etc.
Every dog owner/handler is responsible for
- walking their dogs properly before training indoors to avoid accidents.
- walk their dogs away from buildings and clean up after them.
- cleaning after their dogs if any accidents may happen indoors. No mess is allowed to leave after.
Damage and Insurances
If in the event your dog damages furniture, personal items, and property, you agree to be charged for the damage incurred including the cost to have the item professionally cleaned, repaired or replaced.
Every attendant is responsible for having proper insurances to cover any damage they or their dog might cause. If there are no proper insurances, the customer is personally responsible for covering all the costs of that damage.
Every attendant is also responsible for having proper accident insurances to cover any injury that might occur to themselves or their dogs during the events. In case there are no proper insurances, the customer is personally responsible for covering all the costs.
When the dog is left alone with the instructor/trainer, the instructor/trainer is allowed to take the dog to the vet at the owner’s expense in case of an emergency. In this case, the owner is contacted by phone as soon as possible.
Should your dog have any special requirements about which we need to be aware, please let us know.
You agree to release us, our trainers, agents, and employees from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to you or your dog while training, being directly supervised by us, our trainers, agents, and employees.
In case your trainer/lecturer/speaker is seriously ill or experiences a personal emergency and is unable to attend your consult, you will be notified via phone or email as soon as possible.
If your event/meeting is rescheduled due to instructor illness/emergency we will be in contact with you to rearrange a suitable replacement booking.
The Client acknowledges that obedience training/behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to a dog(s) and/or persons may occur. You, as the client, will assume full financial/moral responsibility for the actions of their dog(s). The Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular traffic, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic which may not always be predictable.
You, as a client, agree to release us, our trainers, agents, and employees from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to you or your dog while training, being directly supervised by us, our trainers, agents and employees.
We, as service providers agree to do our best to prevent any of the above from happening. We also commit to having valid liability insurance in case of any accidents.
In training, where the dog is left to our trainers’ responsibility the dog needs to have insurance that covers any damage the dog might cause to a third party.
Client and Consultant hereby agree to mediate and/or arbitrate any misunderstandings that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein.
Acknowledgment and acceptance of terms and conditions
By accessing, browsing or using this Web Site, you agree to these terms, conditions, and disclaimers as amended from time to time (“Terms & Conditions”) and acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing an item from this Web Site or confirming your place on a longer course by email, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Trust the Nose may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any amendment will be effective immediately. Amendment does not cover agreements that have been made before the amendment if not agreed otherwise.
Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions, they are irrevocable and cannot be changed without the written consent of Trust the Nose. If there is more than one party to these terms as a customer, all customers are jointly responsible for the terms.
In cases not mentioned in these terms and conditions, Finnish law shall apply. Training events are governed by the law of the country in which the training event is being held.
Copyright and intellectual property
The content of our Websites (texts, photos, marks, logos, diagrams, videos, sounds, music, layout, etc.), are the property of Trust the Nose or its affiliated companies or are used with the authorization of the owners or based on quote right, and accordingly are protected by copyright and all other intellectual or industrial property rights which exist under applicable law.
A party is not liable under these Terms for non-performance caused by events or conditions beyond that party’s control. This provision does not relieve the Customer of its obligation to fulfill payment obligations.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Trust the Nose reserves the right to change, any aspect of its Terms and Conditions from time to time and any amendment will be effective immediately.
Once these Terms and Conditions are accepted they are irrevocable and cannot be amended without the written consent of Trust the Nose. In the event there is more than one party as a Customer to these Terms and Conditions, all Customers will be jointly liable for the Terms and Conditions.

Ordering services and products
When ordering any services or products from Trust the Nose you need to accept this General Data Protection Regulation and give the contact and personal information that is needed for providing services, sending products, billing and for keeping in contact with you. Personal data is handled according to the requirements of the Personal Data Act.
The data we will collect may include
- First name and surname
- (Name of your company)
- Phone number
- Email address
- (Home/Company address)
- Information on ordered services and products
- Billing address
- Other information related to customs and ordered services
Your personal data shall be maintained for up to seven years. This retention period may be extended if any applicable statutory or regulatory obligation requires us to hold information for a longer period.
Data is collected from our customers i.e. from messages sent via the contact form on our web page or via social media, email, phone, contracts, customer meetings and other occasions where the customer shares their information.
We may share your personal information with our affiliated companies and their brands for reasons settled with you.
Where you register to attend certain seminars or presentations at our events hosted by a third party, we may share your registration information with such third party. In these cases, data may be also transferred outside the EU.
When giving permission to send you newsletters and/or advertisements via email you agree with us sending you information. You can cancel your permission at any time by answering the sent email and asking for us to remove your contact information from the register.
Privacy protection principles
All collected personal data is stored behind passwords. However, the Internet is an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
Your rights to inspect, update or delete the collected data
You have the right to ask us to inform you about the collected data and the right to update them. You also have the right to ask us to delete all your personal data we have. All the requests need to be sent to email@example.com. In this case, the registrar is entitled to ask you to prove your identity.
